Apricot Bread Recipe

If you enjoy apricots as much as I do, you will love this bread making machine recipe.  This is great breakfast bread.  Why not bake some for the family tomorrow?

Ingredients you will need:
1 cup of water
3 cups of bread flour apricots - bread making machines
1 tbsp of sugar
1 tbsp of butter
1 ½ tsp salt
1 tsp of dried rosemary leaves
2/3  cup dried apricots cut into small pieces
2 ¼ tsps bread machine yeast

Directions:
1. Your bread making machine’s manual will contain a recommended mixing order.
2. Place all ingredients (except apricots) into bread machine bread pan.                            Creative Commons License photo credit: derekmarkham
3. Select dough/manual setting.   Start.  Add apricots at nut/raisin signal.
4. Remove dough with lightly flour hands.  Let rise for 20 minutes.
5. Sprinkle large sheet with cornmeal.
6. Shape dough into round loaf.  Slide top of loaf on floured surface.  Place floured side face up on baking sheet.  Let rise in warm place for an additional 40 minutes.
7. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Cut deep tic tac toe patterns on top of bread.
8. Lightly spray with water, bake 10 minutes. Repeat two more times.
8. Bake an additional 25 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow to the tap.
9.  Remove and allow cooling on wire rack.
