Bread Machine Scandinavian Rye Bread Recipe

Looking for a great new recipe to try out in your bread machine?  Why not bake a loaf of Scandinavian rye?  This recipe with the caraway seeds will help to create a classic rye.  High in fiber, rye bread is generally darker in color and denser than most wheat breads.  Share it with your family and friends.

Ingredients you will need:
2 pound loaf recipeCaraway seed - bread making machines
1 ½ cups water
2 tbsp canola oil
2 ½ cups bread flour
1 ½ cups medium rye flour
3 tbsp brown sugar
5 tsp gluten
2 tbsp caraway seeds
2 tsp salt
3 ½ tsp bread machine yeast

1. First check your bread making machines manual first for mixing order.
2. Place your ingredients to bread pan.
3. Set crust your crust - medium and use Basic baking cycle.
4. Once baking has finished, remove from bread making machines and allow to cool.
