Bread Machine – Cranberry Bread

Cranberry bread has always been one of my breakfast favorites.  A couple of slices and a little butter in the morning, sounds heavenly.  Make sure that you bake enough for the entire family.

Ingredients you will need: Cranberry Bread
1 ¼ cupwater
¼ honey
1 ½ tsp salt
2 tbsp vegetable oil (butter)
2½ cup bread flour
1 ½ cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp active dry yeast

1. Sift all flour ingredients, salt, nutmeg, dry yeast, until well blended.
2. Place dry ingredients into bread machine’s bread pan.
3. Add the remaining ingredients on top of your dry ingredients (except cranberries).
4. Add cranberries at nut signal, if applicable.  Check manufacturer settings.
4. Select the White Bread or Whole Wheat setting on bread machine.  Start.
6. Once machine done, remove bread from bread pan and allow to cool on wire rack.

- Cherries can be used instead of cranberries.  Just to switch things up a bit.
