Frozen bread or bread dough from your bread making machine is a great way to ensure that you always have the Frozen bread - Bread making machine
freshest home-made bread on hand when your family needs it!

Freezing dough is easy and your dough can keep in the freezer for up to a month without any loss of quality.


  • Double the yeast usage; to compensate for the amount that will die during the freezing process.
  • Use dry active yeast.

  • Shape the dough, place in greased bread pan.  Place in freezer.  Once frozen, remove and wrap tightly in plastic wrap.  Place back in freezer until needed for your bread making machine.

Ready to use your frozen dough?
For best results:  First, unwrap your dough and allow it to thaw out overnight in the refrigerator.  Once it has thawed, don’t forget to let it rise a second time the way it normally would.  Cycle settings must be modified if a bread maker is to used.

Freezing freshly baked bread from your bread machine is as easy as tightly wrapping a completely cooled loaf in plastic wrap and placing it into your freezer.  For the best results, consider storing frozen bread in vacuum sealed container or plastic bags. Vacuum sealed baked breads can last for up to three months in the freezer!
