Honey Cornmeal Bread

Cornmeal is made from flour ground from American corn or dried maize.  Finley ground cornmeal is also known as cornflour.  Moist with a slightly gritty texture, Honey Cornmeal Bread is similar to southern cornbread.  This recipe makes a 2 pound loaf.  Try it at home.

Ingredients you will need: Corn and wheat
1 ½ cups water
¼ cup honey
1 ½ tsp salt
3 ½ cups bread flour
½ cup cornmeal
2 tbsp unsalted butter
½ cup dry buttermilk powder
5 tsp gluten

Directions:
1.  Examine bread making machines manual for recommended mixing order.
2.  Add dry ingredients into bread pan.
3.  Add liquid ingredients into bread machine bread pan.
4.  Set crust on light and use the basic cycle for baking.
5.  Once baking is complete, remove from bread making machine, allow to cool.
