Sour Cream Bread Recipe

Sour cream bread is a rich/wonderful tasting bread with a beautiful crust.  Sour cream, a dairy product produced from pasteurized cream adds a slightly tangy but consistent flavor to your bread.  As you sour cream already has quite a bit of its own butter fat, there is no need to add extra oil or butter.  Consider using this bread for French toast or a great sandwich.

Ingredients you will need: Sour Cream Bread - Bread making machines
2 pound loaf recipe
¾ cup water
1 1/4 cup sour cream
4 1/3 cups bread flour
1 ½ tbsp light brown sugar
1 tbsp gluten
1 ½ tsp salt
3 ½ tsp bread machine yeast

1.  Check your bread making machines manual for recommended mixing order.
2.  Add dry ingredients into bread pan.
3.  Add liquid ingredients into bread machine bread pan.
4.  Set crust on medium and use the basic cycle for baking.               Creative Commons License photo credit: surekat
5.  Once baking has finished, remove from bread making machines and allow to cool.
