Following a yeast free diet but love bread?  There are several reasons why you may be interested in a yeast free diet and a yeast free bread.

First, it is thought that yeast free diets help to alleviate asthma, arthritis and migraines.  The average person carries a baking soda - bread making machines
small of amount of yeast within their body.  It only becomes a problem when the yeast becomes abundant creating a condition called Candida albicans.

Second, a yeast free diet is also considered useful when it comes to weight loss.  It is though that excessive amounts of yeast (especially in the intestinal tracts) makes weight loss more difficult.

Yeast free bread or breads made with baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) are great alternatives for those of us seeking to avoid yeast in our foods.  When baking your own bread just make sure that you look for yeast free bread recipes.
